Network and Systems Administrator

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality IT services and possess strong versatility in computer networks and systems? We currently have a position open for a Networks and Systems Administrator! Reporting to the IT Director, you will ensure timely responses to both internal and external clients while offering personalized service that reflects our company's values. You may be asked to work from our offices or be placed with an external client as needed.
Work that inspires you :
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows workstations, Active Directory, backups, and more.
- Deploy workstations and install peripheral devices.
- Conduct investigations and interventions on servers.
- Administer and maintain computer networks.
- Provide technical support to users by responding to client needs and handling various tickets.
- Document your actions and perform technical writing.
- Log your time daily in the management system.
- Frequently travel to client sites to address their various IT needs/problems.
- Be on call as needed by the company.
- Stay up to date with new technologies.
- Participate in infrastructure and architecture analysis, validate recommendations, and contribute to their documentation.
Areas of expertise :
- Hold a DEC, an AEC in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Mastery of the following technologies: Windows Server (all versions), Active Directory, Network Management, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Hyper- V/VMware, Enterprise antivirus (Trend Micro is a plus), Enterprise backup systems (BackupExec, Veeam, Altaro, etc.), Enterprise firewalls (SonicWALL, WatchGuard, Checkpoint, and others), SharePoint, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Modern Workplace, and Azure.
- Must possess a driver's license.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset!
- Experience with industrial systems and technologies is an asset!
- Knowledge of Citrix and Cisco products is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure, Teams, and Modern Workplace are also advantageous.
